Offensive Lions circa 1979

The Offensive Lions de Jonquiere were a junior drum corps from Jonquiere, Quebec.

  • The corps was founded in 1972.
  • The corps became inactive in the fall of 1980.

I saw the Lions in Whitewater, Wisconsin in 1979 at the DCI Midwestern Championship. They had 8 bass drums and played a nice boogie-woogie cadence. I don't recall if they made finals that night but they played all of the corps onto the field for retreat.
