The Marching Angels were an all-girl junior drum corps based in Sarnia, Ontario.

History

  • Corps formed in 1961.

" The Marching Angels was a junior all-girl marching and maneuvering corps based in Sarnia, Ontario. The corps was known as "Canada's Sweethearts."
The corps was owned and operated by Bill and Annette Mann for its entire life of 1961 to 1980. A family affair, the owners' son Brian was acting as the corps' equipment manager when he was only ten years old.
The Angels was blessed with exceptional rolling stock for a corps of its size, with two large highway busses and an equipment truck, all emblazoned with the corps' logo. (Brian Mann) [1]
