The Lakeshoremen are an all-age based in Troy, Michigan. They began as a percussion and guard parade corps in the summer of 2002. The goals of the corps is to become a full open class that would represent Michigan in the DCA and DCM circuits.

On July 9, 2005, the LakeShoremen Drum & Bugle Corps gave the first field performance in the history of the corps at the Drum Corps Midwest Championships in DeKalb, Illinois. As explained by Bob "Kemo" London, a member of the trumpet line, "In every organization there is a turning point when the group goes from wanting to be something to actually BECOMING what it wanted to be. This weekend was that turning point."
