River City Regiment

The River City Regiment is a Senior Drum Corps based in West Sacramento, California.

History

• The corps was formed in 2000 by Glenn Disney. The corps first competitive season was 2002 and currently competes throughout California. The corps plans to compete at the 2007 DCA Championships in Rochester NY.

Mission

Our mission is to create a community service organization to help promote the drum corps activity throughout the Sacramento region and beyond. The goal is to form an ensemble that will be known and respected throughout the area as being a quality musical and visual ensemble that strives towards and achieves excellence.

Trivia

• 2006 was the first year with a full pit.
• The corps is commonly referred to as RCR
• The corps does not have any headwear
