Frontier

Frontier is a Senior Drum Corps or all-age corps, based in Dallas, Texas. It is competitive as an Open Class drum corps, first appearing at DCA championships at the end of its first season in 2005.

History

• The corps was founded in 2004 by Chris Green.

• Frontier is a member of the Frontier Performing Arts Association which sponsors several drum corps and drum corps related groups

• in 2005, Frontier competed in DCM and DCA in Open Class competition

• in 2006, Frontier returned to DCA to the 2nd largest season to season improvement in a 20 year span to place 14th, just a few points shy of finalist status

• Frontier's first uniforms were reflective of another corps 27th Lancers before creating a custom look in 2007

Traditions

• Frontier's corps song is 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me' by Elton John
