William "Duke" Ducharme

William M. Ducharme 1922 - 2005

Member of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame, inducted 1992.
Member of the Massachusetts Drum Corps Hall of Fame, inducted 1998
He joined the American Legion Post 21 Senior Corps. He founded the Post 70 Dukes M & M Corps in 1953 and formed the Springfield Marksmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 1956. He served on the Boards of Directors of the Targets, Patrick Triggs Post VFW Drum Corps, St. George Olympians Corps, Mt. Carmel Fife and Drum Corps and the Holyoke All-City Corps.
