Vanguard Cadets

The Vanguard Cadets is a Junior Drum Corps based in Santa Clara, California. It acts as a feeder corps to the Santa Clara Vanguard.

History

• Corps formed in 1971.

The Vanguard Cadets have been a DCI Division II Finalist every year the Corps has appeared in DCI World Championships (1991, 1993, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006) and won DCI Division II in 2000. The Corps has also competed in the DCI Division I Quarterfinals in 1993 and the DCI Division I Semifinals in 2000. The Vanguard Cadets are the primary training group for membership in the Vanguard.
