Talk:Blue Devils
From DrumCorpsWiki
Trvia: "Blue Devils always manage to eat Roast Beef on Finals Day."
This did not occur in 1985. The roasts were burned unfortunately. The Director at that time, Mike Moxley, was not pleased.

[edit] Removed from intro
- have been the "gold standard" by which drum corps are compared
Although I am a BD alumnus, I don't think everyone would agree with this. --Sam King 08:40, 16 January 2007 (PST)
[edit] Discrepancy
The article states, "The junior and senior twirling corps won every state, regional, and national competition they entered."
The History page of the Blue Devils' website states, "In 1974, ... the Twirling Corps continued to grow and attended their first U.S. Twirling Association (USTA) National Championships in San Francisco. ... The Twirling Corps continued to grow after their first trip to the National Championship in 1974. They won their first National Championship in 1977 ..."
If the Twirling Corps attended their first USTA national championships in 1974, and "won their first National Championship in 1977," how can it also be said that the "twirling corps won every ... national competition they entered"? -- Bob-Tuba 17:42, 6 April 2007 (PDT)
[edit] American Pie: Band Camp??
According to one article, The Blue Devils "F-Tuning" warm-up, as well as excerpts from their 1999 show, can be heard briefly in the background in the film American Pie Presents: Band Camp.
