Sertomanaires

The Sertomanaires were a junior drum corps based in Sarnia, Ontario.

History

• The corps was formed in 1961 and competed in the Junior A class of the day against the Toronto Optimists, De La Salle Oaklands, Hamilton Conqueror and such. They travelled, and competed, extensively throughout Southern Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and the state of New York.

• The corps became inactive in 1969.

• In 1969 the Sertomanaires was re-organized as a new junior corps, the Diplomats also known as the Marching Diplomats.

• The Diplomats disbanded in 1972.
