Schoellkopf Field

Schoellkopf Field is the football, field hockey, and lacrosse field for Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

- Opened in fall of 1915 to a parade of 6,000 people
- Originally seated 9,000
- The crescent was finished in 1924 to increase seating to 21,500
- In 1947 permanent steel stands were built increasing seating once again to 25,597.
- Changed the surface to artificial turf in early 1971
