The Royal Crusader Cadets served as a feeder corps for the Finleyville/Pittsburgh Royal Crusaders during the 1970s.

In 1982, the Royal Crusader Cadets marched in local parades in hopes of rebuilding the now defunct DCI Corps. This effort collapsed after the 1982 parade season.
