From 1972 through 2004, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has aired Drum Corps International's championships on its local television stations in the United States. In some years, the broadcast was live and in others, championships were edited to present highlights from the competition.
In 2005, ESPN2 aired the DCI Championships.
