The Monroe Girls were a junior(?) all-girl drum corps based in Munroe, Georgia.

The Monroe Georgia All Girls Drum and Bugle Corps was under the direction of the late Mr. Wayne Shields. The Monroe, Ga All Girls Drum and Bugle Corps was a music program that was once a part of the Monroe, GA public school system. The Monroe All Girls Drum and Bugle corps once played at Carnege Hall. Mr. Wayne Shields kept the corps going as an all girls alumni corps, and wrote a local newspaper column and hosted a local radio show until his death in the 1990's.
The Monroe, Ga., Girls Drum and Bugle Corps was named International Parade Champ for 1959, winning over 149 musical units.
