Distant Thunder

Distant Thunder Show Corps, from Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, Great Britain, were founded in 1999 in a joint venture between Sharnbrook Upper School and the disbanded but highly regarded Buccaneer Drum & Bugle Corps. The corps competes in BYBA and DCE, and is looking to compete in both DCUK and DCI in the future.
Distant Thunder are endorsed by Dynasty Musical Instruments, Vic Firth Sticks & Mallets and Kelly Mouthpieces.

Distant Thunder are the owners of a Yamaha Contrabass which formerly belonged to The Cadets. It was part of their 2005 DCI winnning show 'The Zone' and taken back to the UK for the second half of the British season, where it was part of the BYBA Division 2 winning show 'West Side Story'.
