The Diplomats were a non-competitive junior parade corps based in Newmarket, Ontario that acted as a feeder corps for the Newmarket Ambsssadors.

  • The Diplomats Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in the fall of 1979. They marched their first Christmas parades as a unit on November 17th, 1979 in their home town of Newmarket and later in the day, Aurora.
  • In 1980 the corps disbands. Although short-lived the corps performed it's function well and many members of the Diplomats later became marching members of the Ambassadors.
