DCI Open Class
From DrumCorpsWiki
- This article is about the current DCI division that encompasses the former Divisions II and III. For the division that eventually became DCI World Class, see Open Class - DCI (1972)
Many fine drum corps are members of Drum Corps International's Open Class. These corps travel primarily on weekends over the summer, culminating in a two week tour including DCI Championships. Corps in Open Class were known as A Class corps from 1975 and 1991 (and A-60 from its inception in 1985 to 1991) and Divisions II and III from 1992 to 2007.
