DCI Division II

Division II is a former classification of DCI drum corps, from 1992 to 2007. On September 22, 2007, Divisions II and III merged to form a new Open Class. This division was known as A Class from 1975-1991.

From 1975 to 1984, A Class corps could be anywhere from 30-128 members in size. In 1985, the year A-60 Class was introduced, the minimum size changed to 61. The size range stayed the same until 2004, when Divisions I and II changed the membership limit to 135. The final size requirement change came in a restructuring of Divisions II and III in 2006. In the last two years of Division II, a member corps could have between 71 and 135 members.
