DCA Rules Congress, 2007

The 2007 DCA Rules Congress was held January 13-14, 2007 in Newark, New Jersey. The following rule changes were passed by the congress for use in Drum Corps Associates competition during the 2007 season:
- DCA drum corps now need to have at least 35 performers (not including drum majors and honor guard) on the field in order to compete.
- DCA drum corps will be seeded in prelims of the DCA championships based on their highest score in the month of August.
- The maximum number of valves on a brass instrument considered legal for DCA competition was increased from 3 to 4 valves.
Several other rule changes to do with administration of DCA and DCA corps were passed as well.
