- The voting membership of Drum Corps International votes to: allow a sound engineer in the press box, formalization of the set-up process immediately prior to the performance, an unadjudicated "pre-show" before a corps performance, changes to the Field Visual adjudication sheet, elimination of Post-show critiques replaced by pre-show discussion with judges and that corps send in synopses of their productions to judges prior to the season at the DCI Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana.
