The Comets were a junior Sons of the American Legion corps affiliated wth the Homer Dahringer American Legion Post of Waukegan, Illinois.

It was reactivated briefly in 1961 and appeared in a few exhibitions through the early 1960s. The colors were American Legion blue and gold.
