Albion Johnson
From DrumCorpsWiki
Albion Johnson (November 13, 1894 - February, 1972) was the founder, mentor, impresario and organizer behind the Kenosha Music Round-Up drum and bugle corps/band/drill team competitions and parade in Kenosha, Wisconsin each July from the 1940s until his retirement. He then donated the contest to the Kenosha Band Boosters, a local Kenosha-area public-school band advocacy group which discontinued the drum and bugle corps contests and the parade and continued it as the Great Lakes Band Championships until the mid-1990s.
